The Destination

Turkey's Turquoise Coast

Turkey's Turquoise Coast stretches from Gocek to Kas along the Lycian shore, offering pine-forested coves, ancient Lycian ruins, and some of the warmest waters in the Mediterranean. Naveo's catamaran charters offer a modern, comfortable alternative to the traditional Turkish gulet — with the same authentic coastal experience but with the space, stability, and amenities of a premium catamaran.

The combination of ancient history at the waterline, genuine Turkish hospitality ashore, and dramatically fewer boats than Greece or Croatia makes this one of the most underrated sailing grounds in the world.

What Our Guests Say

VERIFIED ON TRIPADVISOR

Turkey rewards those who slow down. Vincent knew exactly where to anchor so we had bays to ourselves. The Lycian tombs appearing around headlands — nothing prepares you for that.

The hammam in Marmaris on the last evening was the perfect ending to the week. Göcek harbour at night with the gulets moored up — magical.

Before You Go

A Few Things to Know

We've gathered answers to the most common questions about this journey. If you have more questions, we're always here to help.

A gulet is a traditional Turkish wooden sailing vessel — atmospheric but typically slower, with less deck space and fewer modern amenities. A catamaran offers more stability, spacious deck areas, better ventilation, and a shallower draft for accessing hidden coves. Both provide an authentic Turquoise Coast experience.

Our Turkey charters depart from Gocek marina. The nearest airport is Dalaman (DLM), a 20-minute drive from the marina, with direct flights from major European cities.

Activities include visiting ancient Lycian rock tombs, traditional Turkish hamam experiences (€85pp), paragliding over Oludeniz (€130pp), cooking workshops with local chefs (€85pp), and swimming in secluded pine-fringed bays.
