Beyond a Charter
This is not a standard yacht charter. The whole boat is yours, and the week is shaped around your group — how much you want to sail, how long you want to stay in the water, and which beach bar you end the day in.
The Virgin Islands are the winter answer. Line-of-sight sailing between islands, warm trade winds, and swimming every day of the week while the Mediterranean is shut.
A crewed Lagoon 46 charter in the BVI starts from €19,000 per week for up to 8 guests. This is an all-inclusive charter covering skipper, chef, all meals, fuel, and water toys. BVI charters run Saturday to Saturday from Tortola.
The Rhythm
A Day on the Water
Each day flows with intention and flexibility. No schedules, no pressure — just the rhythm of the sea and whatever feels right.
Morning
Wake slowly
Coffee on deck in a bay you can see the bottom of. A swim before breakfast in water that never drops below comfortable, even in January.
Midday
Line-of-sight sailing
You can see the next island from the last one, every day. Steady trade winds, short passages, and a proper sail without ever losing sight of land.
Afternoon
In the water
Snorkelling the Indians, the granite caves at The Baths, or the wreck off Salt Island. This is the week where people spend the most time actually swimming.
Evening
A beach bar, or the boat
Jost Van Dyke has the most famous bars in the Caribbean, and they earn it. Or stay at anchor, let the chef cook, and watch the stars come out over the water.

The Yacht
Lagoon 46
A 46-foot catamaran with four double cabins, each with its own bathroom, air conditioning and natural light. Wide decks and a shaded cockpit, which is what you want in the Caribbean. Larger groups move up to a six-cabin catamaran for up to twelve guests.

Why a Catamaran?
The Virgin Islands are catamaran country. Shallow draft gets you into the sandy anchorages, the wide deck gives everyone shade and space, and the boat stays flat in the trade winds so the sailing is genuinely relaxing rather than something to endure.
