The Destination

Croatia's Hidden Coast

Naveo's Croatia route focuses on the Adriatic's hidden coast — the off-the-beaten-track islands that most charter companies skip. Departing from Split, the 7-day itinerary visits Vis (the 'Mamma Mia island'), Lastovo Natural Park (Croatia's most remote inhabited island), Brac, and the coastal village of Makarska.

This is not the party-island Croatia — it is quiet anchorages, local konoba restaurants, and waters you share with fishing boats, not cruise ships.

A Few Things to Know

We've gathered answers to the most common questions about this journey. If you have more questions, we're always here to help.

Vis and Lastovo are Croatia's most unspoiled sailing destinations. Vis — known as the 'Mamma Mia island' — has a thriving food scene and the famous Blue Cave. Lastovo Natural Park is Croatia's most remote inhabited island, with fewer than 800 residents and almost no tourist infrastructure.

Croatia is one of Europe's premier sailing destinations, with over 1,200 islands, reliable summer winds, and well-maintained marinas. The Adriatic coast offers sheltered sailing, clear waters, and a rich culinary tradition.

June and September offer warm weather (25-28°C), calm seas, and significantly fewer crowds than July-August. Water temperatures reach 24-26°C. May and October are possible but cooler.
