Beyond a Charter
This is not a standard yacht charter. The whole boat is yours, and the week is built around your group — how far you want to push north, how late you want to sit up watching Stromboli, and how much of the week you want to spend in the water.
The Aeolians are seven volcanic islands with black sand, sulphur pools and one volcano that is still going. It is the most dramatic week we run, and the one people come back from with the most to say.

The Rhythm
A Day on the Water
Each day flows with intention and flexibility. No schedules, no pressure — just the rhythm of the sea and whatever feels right.
Morning
Wake slowly
Coffee on deck with a volcano on the skyline. A swim in water that drops away black and deep within a few metres of the shore.
Midday
Between islands
Some hops are four miles, one is thirty-five. Lunch at anchor off Panarea or under the cliffs at Filicudi, with the engine off and the sails up when the wind allows.
Afternoon
Ashore on the islands
Pastel houses on Panarea, vineyards on Salina, the sulphur pools on Vulcano if you can stand the smell. Or the water, which is usually the winner.
Evening
Stromboli after dark
The one everyone remembers. We hold position off the Sciara del Fuoco as the light goes and watch the mountain throw fire down its own side.

The Yacht
Lagoon 46
A 46-foot catamaran with four double cabins, each with its own bathroom, air conditioning and natural light. Steady on the longer Aeolian passages and comfortable at anchor on a warm night. Larger groups move up to a six-cabin catamaran for up to twelve guests.

Why a Catamaran?
There are longer passages here than on our other routes, and a catamaran barely heels, so nobody spends the crossing bracing against a table. It also holds position steadily off Stromboli, which is the whole reason people come.
